As we step into the new year, Nature Connect is thrilled to kick off 2025 with exciting news. We are proud to announce the addition of New Fixed-Term Hires From the Groen Sebenza Programme in partnership with SANBI.

This initiative has been instrumental in providing young professionals with hands-on experience in environmental conservation and education. These talented individuals have now been hired as fixed-term staff, bringing their passion and expertise to our organisation.
The Impact of the Groen Sebenza Programme

The Groen Sebenza Programme has been a cornerstone in our efforts to nurture the next generation of environmental stewards. By hosting interns through this programme, we have provided them with valuable training and development opportunities. These interns have now become an integral part of our team, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to our projects.
Connecting People with Nature

In the face of the current climate crisis, characterised by escalating global temperatures, extreme weather events, and widespread ecological disruptions, Nature Connect is committed to educating and empowering individuals to take action. Our new hires, trained through the Groen Sebenza Programme, are now equipped to contribute to our mission of connecting people with nature and promoting biodiversity conservation.
Looking Ahead

As we continue to grow and expand our programmes, we are excited to see the positive impact that our new team members will have on our organisation and the communities we serve. Together, we will work towards a sustainable future where people and nature thrive in harmony.
