Nature Connect believes in connecting people with nature. With October being mental health awareness month, it is a great privilege to give people lucky enough to live in the heart of the smallest floral kingdom in the world access to some of our spring gems.

The American Psychological Association (https://www.apa.org/monitor/2020/04/nurtured-nature) reminds us that exposure to nature has been linked to a host of benefits, including improved attention, lower stress, better mood, reduced risk of psychiatric disorders, and even upticks in empathy and cooperation.

During the last few weeks, residents of the Royal Ascot in Milnerton were able to explore the spring wonders cared for in the Milnerton Race Course conservation area within the Table Bay Nature Reserve, while folks in Kenilworth and surrounds enjoyed spring walks within the private Kenilworth Race Course conservation area.

Fynbos-lovers could soak up the amazing transformation of an otherwise evergreen landscape turn that transformed into a breathtaking display of colour. The Kenilworth site showcased an array of diversity made that much more special as a post-fire veld bloom.
