During our recent Small Grants Workshop, our grantees and other interested participants dived into a session designed to sharpen their skills and supercharge their impact in the NGO space. Here’s a glimpse of what went down:

Mastering grant writing:

Participants teamed up to tackle a fictional conservation project, crafting compelling grant applications. The collaborative spirit was electric as they brainstormed innovative ideas and honed their storytelling skills to secure funding.

Building strong stakeholder relationships:

We took networking to a whole new level with a speed networking session! Each person had just 3 minutes to share their organisation’s story, simulating real-life scenarios where making a quick, impactful connection is key. The energy in the room was palpable as stories of passion and purpose flowed, sparking ideas for future collaborations.

Boosting social media reach:

In today’s digital age, visibility is vital. Participants learnt the latest strategies to enhance their social media presence, ensuring their messages reach a wider audience and resonate more deeply.

Networking and collaboration:

The speed networking was a crowd favourite, offering a fantastic opportunity to connect, share, and inspire one another. Seeing potential partnerships and synergies emerge was truly inspiring.
