Towards the end of June and beginning of July, Nature Connect’s Green Skills Training and Development programme has offered 15 employed and 10 unemployed learners a 12 month Nature Conservation Natural Resource Guardianship Learnership. The Learnership is in collaboration with CATHSSETA.

Through this qualification, the learners will gain insight into how the nature conservation sector works. It includes courses on communication, maths literacy and demonstrating an understanding of the Nature conservation environment.

Green Skills Training and Development was also able to provide 20 of this year’s Nature Conservation graduates with a 12-month internship at various sites in Cape Town, KwaZulu-Natal and Pretoria. The internship will provide invaluable experience in the industry, and equip them to find employment.
